πŸš€ New Features

  • Persona Builder is now live in Beta. On the Persona tab, you can now switch from the agent preview to a chat assistant that writes and rewrites your agent's persona for you.
    • Tell it what you want in plain language - "make the tone friendly," "focus on returns and refunds" - and it reads the current persona, rewrites it, and saves a new version.
    • The persona editor and preview update automatically as it works.
    • Available to all customers and does not use your query credits.
    • This is the first step of a broader builder assistant that will eventually help configure an agent end to end.
  • Balanced and Extended context depth are now available on Standard plans, which was previously limited to Compact. They cost one extra query credit per message compared to Premium and Enterprise, shown right on the page so you can try the deeper context before upgrading.

πŸ›  Improvements

  • The left navigation panel has a cleaner, more polished look. The New Agent button is now an outlined button, the collapsed rail no longer re-expands when you hover over it (hover the logo to open the panel), and in-agent pages align more neatly.
  • Live Chat settings now open in a dedicated modal with Appearance, Behavior, Size, and Advanced tabs, plus a live preview that updates as you change each setting.
  • More of the Multi-Agent interface is now translated.
  • The agent preview button is now labeled Preview instead of "Try it out".

πŸ”Œ API & MCP

  • Sub-personas can now be managed through the API. New endpoints let you inspect an agent's generated persona blocks separately from your saved overrides, update or clear project-level overrides, and pass per-request sub_personas overrides through the conversation and task APIs.

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed the issue where citations came back empty when an agent was queried over MCP. Citations now resolve whenever the connection can send messages or read documents, instead of requiring the document permission specifically.
  • Fixed the issue where a project could show two "Upload" entries in its source list, each showing the combined page count. Duplicate upload sources are now prevented and existing ones cleaned up.
  • Fixed the issue where end-user login through an identity provider could get stuck inside the embedded chat widget on browsers with strict privacy settings. Login now retries once storage access is granted, and offers a "continue in a new window" option when it isn't.
  • Fixed the issue where the "Requested Human" column showed up in Project Explore views it doesn't belong in. It now appears only for Content Found, User Emotion, and User Intent.
  • Fixed the issue where an API request that created a duplicate conversation session could fail with an unclear error. It now returns a clean 409 Conflict.
  • Fixed the issue where Zendesk help center article sync could fail when an article arrived without body text.
  • Fixed pagination summary text so it no longer renders awkward wording or leaves an empty footer on edge cases, across Agents, Documents, Labels, Logs, Project Explore, and Outgoing Traffic.
