Change loading indicator type
This guide explain you how to customize the loading indicator type for your AI Agent.
- On your dashboard, click Personalize.
- Click Conversation tab.
- Scroll to the Loading indicator section.
- Select a loading indicator option:
- Live activity (Recommended) – Displays an animated orb with a text box. The text box is filled with Thinking... by default. Enter your own text, or leave it empty to show only the orb. New agents use this option by default.
- Default Typing dots – Displays the standard loading animation.
- Custom message – Displays a personalized message. When selected, a text box labeled Hang in there, I'm thinking... appears. Enter the message you want users to see while the AI loads.
Note: If your agent has any action enabled, it always uses Live activity. Default Typing dots and Custom message are disabled. The text you enter is shown only when no status update is available.
- Click Save Settings to apply your updates.
