Enable and manage context-rich starter questions

This guide shows you how to enable and manage context-rich starter questions- a feature that allows your AI agent to automatically generate intelligent, relevant prompts based on the content of the page it’s embedded on.

Before you start

Webpage Awareness must be enabled on your agent's Actions page. See How to enable Webpage Awareness.

How to enable and manage Context-rich Starter Questions

  1. Navigate to your CustomGPT dashboard, and in the right sidebar click Personalize.
  1. Click the Conversation tab.

📘

Note: If your agent has not been deployed on a website yet, the pop-up shows an empty state. Deploy your agent on your website first, then come back to manage questions.

The pop-up shows a card for each page stored in your agent's memory. Each card shows the page URL, its suggested starter questions, a delete button, and the date it was last updated.

  1. To search for a page, use the search bar at the top. The list updates as you type.
  1. To edit a question, click the question field to make it editable.

Note: Edited questions are not replaced automatically. They stay as-is unless you edit them again or delete the entry.

  1. To delete a page, click Delete on its card.
📘

Note: If the page is still live on your website and a visitor opens it, a new question will be generated for that page automatically.

  1. To delete all pages, click Delete all next to the search bar.
