Migrate to the new Confluence integration

This guide will help you migrate your old Confluence Legacy integration to the new one.

We have launched a new Confluence app to enhance service quality and improve user experience. The old app is no longer available, but any content added using the old app will remain in your agents permanently.

Key Changes

  • The old Confluence app is deprecated and cannot be used to add new integrations.
  • If you previously integrated Confluence with an agent, it will now appear as Confluence Legacy under agent's Data > Sources page.
  • You can still view documents and delete the legacy integration from this section.
  • Clicking on Confluence Legacy will show a popup prompting you to switch to the new app.
  • Auto-sync for the old app is no longer functional.
  • For a better experience and working auto-sync, switching to the new app is recommended.

How to Transition to the New Confluence App

Follow these steps to migrate your existing agents:

  1. Navigate to agent's Data > Sources page.
  2. Click on Confluence (not the one labeled Legacy).
  3. Click Add New Confluence.
  4. Follow the guided setup process.
  5. Once content is successfully added via the new integration, you can safely remove the old one.

New Confluence App Workflow

The new Confluence integration provides a seamless experience with the following steps:

  1. Authenticate via OAuth.
  2. Select Spaces to Integrate – You will only see spaces where you have read access.
  3. Content is Added Automatically.
  4. Auto-sync is Supported – You can set up a sync schedule, similar to how sitemaps work.

By switching to the new Confluence integration, you’ll ensure ongoing support, improved reliability, and access to the latest features. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our support team!
