What is the Enterprise search role
The Enterprise search role optimizes your agent for internal Q&A across company docs and knowledge bases. It focuses on accurate retrieval and clear, shareable answers for teams.

What it does
When you assign this role, your agent will:
- Search across your internal knowledge base.
- Provide instant, accurate answers to team queries.
- Enable conversation sharing so answers can be shared internally.
- Disable user feedback prompts to keep the chat focused on quick information retrieval.
How to enable the Enterprise search role
For a new agent:
- From your dashboard, click New Agent.

- Select your data source (e.g., WordPress), add your siteβs URL, and click Create Agent.

- Youβll be prompted to select an Agent Role. Select Enterprise search role.

For an existing agent:
- Open the agent you want to update and click Personalize.

- In the Agent Role dropdown, select Enterprise search.

- Click Save Settings to apply the roleβs settings.
