What is the Customer support role?
The Customer support role is a predefined behavior profile that configures your agent with specialized settings optimized for handling support scenarios.

What it does
When you assign this role, your agent will:
- Resolve up to 93% of customer support questions instantly and accurately
- Append and display citations after each response in opened mode
- Enable conversation sharing for review and collaboration
- Deploy as a bubble-style chat window in the corner
- Keep the conversation open for seamless, ongoing support
How to enable the Customer support role
For a new agent:
- From your dashboard, click New Agent.

- Select your data source (e.g., WordPress), add your siteβs URL, and click Create Agent.

- Youβll be prompted to select an Agent Role. Select Customer support role.

When editing an existing agent
- Open the agent you want to update and click Personalize.

- In the General tab, locate Agent Role.

- Select the new role from the dropdown.

- Click Save Settings to apply the roleβs settings.

What settings does this role apply?
