How ZIP archive uploads work
When you upload an archive file, CustomGPT.ai automatically unpacks it. Each file inside the archive is processed as an individual document. Because each extracted file is treated separately, every file inside the archive counts toward your document limit.
This allows you to upload large batches of documents at once while keeping processing consistent with regular file uploads.
Supported archive types
Archive support is available for the following formats:
- zip
- rar
- tar.gz
- 7z
Note:Archive uploads are supported only in the File Upload data source. They are not available for other data sources such as URLs, Drives, or Integrations.
