Additional query information

This step by step guide explains the available Additional Query Information items that provide deeper context about the user, their environment, and how they accessed your agent.

Additional Query Information

The Additional Query Information fields expand customer insights by capturing metadata for every user query. These data points help businesses better understand who is interacting with their agent, from where, and through which deployment channel.

Currently available additional information includes:

  • User Location
  • User Details
  • Deployment

User Location

User Location shows the country from which the user submitted the query. This helps analyze audience distribution, identify regional usage patterns, and support localization needs.

  • Country – Displays the user’s country.

User Details

User Details provide insight into the user’s identity and CRM association. This helps determine whether interactions come from internal team members or external visitors, and allows mapping conversations to CRM profiles.

User Details include:

  • Team member status – Indicates whether the user is a guest or a team member.
  • CRM ID – Shows the CRM identifier associated with the user, when available. Learn more about CRM IDs here: Enable and use CRM integration

Deployment

Deployment shows how the user accessed your agent and which browser was used. This information helps you analyze channel performance and understand user environments.

Deployment includes:

  • Agent deployment type – Indicates the method used to access the agent (embed, widget, API, in-app, etc.).
  • Browser – Displays the user’s browser, useful for detecting device patterns or troubleshooting environment-specific issues.
