LinkedIn URL formats and limits
Supported LinkedIn URL formats, what gets stored, and plan-based page and sync limits.
Check this before connecting a LinkedIn source, or if a URL isn't being accepted.
CustomGPT.ai accepts the following LinkedIn URL types as data sources.

Paste the URL however you copied it:

/posts,/about, and similar) are stripped automatically - Regional or mobile addresses (for example
uk.linkedin.comorm.linkedin.com) are recognized the same as a standardlinkedin.comURL.
What gets stored
Every public post is added as one page, with comments, the cookie-consent banner, and LinkedIn's "More Relevant Posts" section stripped out. Reposts are included only if you added your own commentary - a plain repost is skipped. LinkedIn articles and newsletters are not included, only posts.
Page limit
Each post counts as one page toward your agent's page limit:

There's no separate cap on how many posts a single LinkedIn source can add - a profile or page with a few hundred posts fits comfortably on any plan.
Auto-sync plan requirements
Scheduled auto-sync is available on every plan. On Enterprise you can also run an instant, on-demand sync at any time - refer to Enable LinkedIn auto-sync.
Known limitations
- Private profiles and pages, and profiles or pages with no public posts, can't be added.
- The bare LinkedIn homepage isn't a valid source.
- Editing an existing post on LinkedIn doesn't update it in your agent on a scheduled sync - only new and deleted posts are picked up.
Access methods
LinkedIn can be added as a data source via the dashboard (LinkedIn card in the Media section of Sources), API, or MCP.
